Cahir

When you are passing Cahir by bus you can't miss the view of a big beautiful castle. The Cahir Castle is one of the largest castles in Ireland. It was built in the 12th century and is being well preserved. You can go inside and take guided tours in multiple languages. The view of the castle is well known from TV (The Tudors, Excalibur) but you will hardly find it in your travel book. You can get there either by car or by bus no. 55 direction Limerick leaving at Mooncoin Bus Station.
